
The collection of music content on JSTOR includes more than 70 journals and 50 academic ebooks from around the world, mostly in English language. It covers many interdisciplinary subjects, overlapping with areas such as African-american studies, education, and the performing arts.
Music content on JSTOR is strong in musicology, ethnomusicology, music theory, and music education. Key titles include Musical Times, Music Educators, Music & Letters, and Popular Music, among many others from leading publishers (American Musicological Society, Music Library Association, and the Society for Music Theory). Unfortunately, the platform do not offer access to the current issues but the available range of periodicals of the journals is listed next to each title.
You can access the collection without logging in on the devices connected to UMFC network. If you study or work at UMFC, you can obtain login details by sending an email to wypozyczalnia@chopin.edu.pl. They will allow you to access the resources also from outside of the university network.
