The FCUM Main Library offers the following catalogues with the basic information on its resources:

• ALEPH Main Catalogue - a central catalogue which integrates the information on the resources available in the FCUM Main Library in Warsaw and in the Library of the Department of Instrumental and Educational Studies in Białystok. The catalogue was created in September 2013. Since then all the newly acquired items have been catalogued and made available in the Aleph integrated library system. The catalogue is constantly updated and currently it contains the information on the following library collections:

  • Approx. 80% of books;
  • Journals registered after 1 June 2007, and on most Polish and selected foreign periodicals;
  • Sheet music registered after 1 January 1997, and the selected earlier ones, as well as all the small format scores;
  • All the collections stored in the Library of the Department of Instrumental and Educational Studies in Białystok – Main Catalogue (Białystok).
• Digital card catalogues of the FCUM Main Library in Warsaw::
  • Scanned alphabetical card catalogue of sheet music – provided as an auxiliary tool until all the necessary data regarding the sheet music is entered in Aleph. Closed and scanned in July 2014, the catalogue is no longer modified or updated.
  • Digital catalogues of CDs, DVDs, analogue records and documentation – provided as an auxiliary tool until all the necessary data is entered in Aleph. Closed in September 2014, the catalogue is no longer modified or updated.
• Card catalogues - available in all the Library departments (Lending Room, Reading Room and Sound Library); their function is only auxiliary, as the electronic catalogues constitute the main source of information on the collections. The card catalogues have been closed and are therefore neither modified nor updated.
• e-Resources - databases of digital resources available through the FCUM Main Library in Warsaw.
